How I Photograph Weddings in Chatham-Kent & Windsor
Here's how I shoot a wedding day now, so you know exactly what you're getting.

I've been photographing weddings across Chatham-Kent and Windsor since 2015, and my favourite moment hasn't changed: the second a couple forgets the camera is there. That's when the real photos happen. Here's how I shoot a wedding day now, so you know exactly what you're getting.
Natural, not stiff
You won't spend your day holding awkward poses. I'll give you a little direction when it helps (where to stand, where the light is best), then let you be yourselves. The laughing, the happy tears, your grandpa on the dance floor. That's the stuff you'll want to look at in twenty years.
The look is clean and editorial, with warm, soft colour on daytime photos. I shoot on Sony cameras with a 50mm f/1.2 lens, which gives that dreamy background blur that makes you two pop.
The night portrait
Whenever the weather and timing line up, we'll sneak out after dark for my signature backlit night portrait. It takes a few minutes, and it's usually the photo couples end up framing. Have a look at a few in the portfolio.
Your day, covered start to finish
I'm your photographer from the first look to the last dance. A second photographer is available as an add-on if you'd like two angles on everything. I shoot on two memory cards, with fresh cards for each part of the day. And yes, I'm fully insured.
Want help with timing? I'll help you build a timeline around the best light, so you're not rushing portraits at noon.
