Windsor & Essex County
Windsor Wedding Photographer
Candid, relaxed and calm on the day.
Hate having your picture taken? Good news: most of my couples say that too, right up until they see their gallery. I shoot real moments, not stiff poses. You hang out with your people, I'll make it look as good as it felt.

Weddings across Windsor and Essex County
I'm based in Chatham and I've been photographing weddings for 11+ years. Windsor and Essex County are a short drive down the 401, and I'm happy to come to you, whether you're getting married downtown, out in LaSalle or Tecumseh, by the lake in Lakeshore, or down in Amherstburg, Kingsville, Leamington, Essex or Harrow.
Photos only, no video add-ons to upsell you on. Just one guy who's very good at one thing.
Windsor venues and photo spots
Windsor has it all: grand old halls, wineries with rows of vines, waterfront parks and gritty downtown walls that look amazing at night. I'll walk the spot ahead of time (or study it hard) so I know where the light is good and where the backup plan lives if it rains.
I've photographed weddings at Mackenzie Hall and at Essex County wineries. Planning on a winery? Read my Essex County winery wedding guide. Still picking a venue? Start with Windsor wedding venues and photo tips, then see the venues page.
Golden hour by the Detroit River
Windsor has one view nobody else gets: the Detroit skyline across the river. Around golden hour, the light goes warm and soft, and the riverfront turns into the best backdrop in the county. We'll build ten or fifteen minutes into your timeline to sneak away, and then, when the weather and timeline allow, we'll do my signature backlit night portrait to finish. Fair warning: it tends to become the phone wallpaper.
Some Windsor parks and venues have their own photo rules, and I'll check that for you when we plan your session.
Want help timing it? My golden-hour wedding timeline does the math for you.

What couples say
Steve did our engagement and wedding photos and they came out amazing. We were extremely happy with the outcome. It was great working with him, as he was professional, comfortable and fun to work with ... and also was very accommodating when we had to postpone twice. We made the right choice and would highly recommend him.
Windsor wedding FAQs
How fast do we get our photos?
Sneak peeks and your full gallery, the week after your wedding. Not weeks. Not months. You'll be posting before the honeymoon tan fades.
Do you charge extra to come to Windsor?
Nope. There's no travel fee anywhere in Chatham-Kent or Windsor-Essex. Anything farther gets a quote.
What if something goes wrong with the files?
I shoot on two memory cards and switch to fresh cards for each part of the day, so one bad card can't take your ceremony with it. I'm also fully insured, which a lot of venues ask for.
Do you do video too?
No, photos only. That's on purpose. All my attention goes into your photos.
