Do you only shoot weddings?

Yep. Weddings (and the engagement sessions in the Signature and Full Day collections) are all I photograph. All my attention goes to getting your day right.

What areas do you cover?

Chatham-Kent, Windsor and the surrounding Essex County area. Getting married further out? Ask, and we'll sort it out.

We hate having our picture taken. Help?

You're in the majority. I'll tell you exactly where to stand and what to do with your hands, keep posed bits short, and then let you get on with your day. Most of your gallery will be candid anyway.

Posed or candid?

Mostly candid. You'll get the family group shots your mom wants, done fast, and the rest is real moments as they happen.

Will the photos look good on our phones?

That's the idea: photos you'll want to post and share, and print big too.

What's the night shot?

It's my signature backlit night portrait. When the weather and timeline allow, we'll sneak out near the end of the night for a few minutes. It's a little bit magic, and there's no extra charge in any collection. You'll be on the dance floor again before anyone notices you left.

How many photos will we get?

It depends on your collection and how long I'm there. Every photo in your gallery is there because it's worth keeping, not to pad the count.

When do we get our photos?

Sneak peeks and your full gallery, the week after your wedding. No months of waiting.

How much does it cost?

Collections start at $895 for an elopement (up to 2 hours) and go up to $3,200 for a full day (up to 10 hours, engagement session included). The most popular is Signature: up to 8 hours plus an engagement session. Every price is on the pricing page, so you'll know what you're getting before you book.

Do you do small weddings or elopements?

Yes. The Elopement collection is $895 for up to 2 hours: courthouse, backyard, or just the two of you. You still get edited photos, an online gallery and, when the weather and timeline allow, my signature night portrait.

Can we add more time or a second photographer?

Yep. Extra hours are $250 each, and a second photographer is $600.

Are you insured?

Yes, I'm fully insured. Lots of venues ask for proof of liability insurance, and I can send it straight to your venue on request.

What if a memory card fails?

I'm a little obsessive about this. I shoot on two memory cards and swap in fresh cards for each part of the day: getting ready, the ceremony, family photos and the reception. No single card ever holds your whole wedding.

What gear do you use?

Pro Sony cameras and a 50mm f/1.2 lens. That lens loves low light, which is a big reason the night portraits and dance floor photos look the way they do.

What if it rains?

We'll have a plan B in the timeline before the day. Covered spots, clear umbrellas, moody skies. Some of my favourite night portraits happened in the rain.

How do we book?

Send your date through the contact form, or start with a free chat. If it feels right, pick a collection, sign a simple agreement and pay a $300 deposit. It's non-refundable and comes off your total, and the balance is due 30 days before the wedding, by e-transfer. Booking inside 30 days? You'll pay in full when you sign.

Can we download and print our photos?

Your gallery is online, easy to download and share from your phone, and you can print whatever you like.

How far ahead should we book?

Popular Saturdays go first, so check your date early.

Still wondering? Let's chat.

Phone, FaceTime or coffee, your pick. Or check your date and book.
